LaGrange County Miracle Tree, founded in 2019, serves the families and children within our community who are either living in poverty or who are experiencing a diminished quality of life due to an unexpected crisis or emergency event. With the help of grants and donations received
from generous donors and local businesses, we provide these families and children with items of daily essentials and comfort, such as clothing, diapers, blankets, pillows, beds, hygiene necessities, and more. Once these minimal essentials for daily needs are met, if additional funds or donations remain, LaGrange County Miracle Tree provides each child with items that will enrich their intellectual and emotional growth.

Over the past few years we have been able to provide drawing supplies for children who yearn to draw but have no pencil or paper, science kits for young adolescents who love science but can only dream of having a microscope to further their scientific curiosity, journals and writing instruments for aspiring writers who long to get their ideas on paper, sensory focused items for children with special needs, and sporting equipment for promising young athletes so that they might practice their craft outside of school grounds. To some of the children within our community these talents and skills could mean the difference between living a life of continued poverty and hardship, learning a skilled trade, learning to work through everyday challenges, or being able to obtain a college education. It is our goal to provide for the betterment of the young children within our community, not only for today, but for the many tomorrows to come.

LaGrange County Miracle Tree practices diversion, equity, and inclusion in everything that we do.
